When will portable version 5 be more like version 4?

Comparing portable version 4.5.0.9 to portable version 5.3.0.0

Portable version 5 has a few key items missing or poorly implemented.

Here are a few things from version 4 that I would like to see in version 5.

• Append Computer Name to Log (Version 5 prefixs the name which causes log files to be all over the place for alphabetical order viewing.)
• Allow UNC path for Download location and Logs. (Ver 5 requires mapped drives for a drive letter.)
• Enable Download Only mode (Missing in version 5.)

I will have to think of others.

I also can't stand the huge screen space used by version 5. I love how version 4 shows a simple compact vertical list text view. The list view in Version 5 takes a lot of space. I can view 28 apps in the same space that ver 5 list view only shows 10.

It's annoying how as soon as you check 1 app, the top UI gets bigger which moves the whole list view down. So when selecting multiple items you have a jarring mouse jump. Easy solve. Leave the UI there and have it say "0 items selected". Or you could expand horizontally (as needed) by putting that UI on the same element as "My Apps" and "App Library" so that the vertical spacing doesn't change. Or that UI to the "Summary" pane on the right.

There is a checkbox to the left of "Display Name" on version 5. Which implies a Check All functionality, but it does nothing when checked. It would be good to have this be a working Select All, probably should be select all outdated, so you can bulk edit for "Disable Auto updating" and other actions.
