keep in mind, major upgrades for example from 2016 to 2017 do require a new license key from provider, so you cant upgrade from 2016 to 2017 without it, or it can be added as parameter manually before publishing.

Omar (Patch My PC)

There is only 1 version of 2017 edition, We can't add this until a second version releases. Do you want the last version of 2016 ?
Also do you want "Vu" or only "Revu" ?

coiter

i have multiple versions of 2016 running, so all is possible.

upgrading from 2016 to 2017 is also okey, as long as i can insert key in the  parameters before publishing to SCCM.

Revu is the one we use.

coiter

2 versions of revu 2017 now exist.

where you can get the msp for update.

Omar (Patch My PC)

Will test and let you know :)

We're a fairly large construction company that uses Bluebeam and we're currently looking into purchasing PatchMyPC. We (mainly me) would love to have Bluebeam integrated into the catalog. I believe you can update the current installed versions with a .msp file?

Support Team (Patch My PC)

Thanks for the feedback we are looking into this app

Omar (Patch My PC)

Sorry about the delay, There is a problem adding the MSP updates to the catalog and we may not be able to add them, We probably may add the full MSI installers instead.

Support Team (Patch My PC)

Let me check in on this for you.

dylbrwn

Still would love to have this if possible.

Support Team (Patch My PC)

Sorry for the delay. I would recommend contacting BlueBeam because their MSP installers seem to have some invalid elements.

Create/Edit Update or Bundle Failed
Error Message: [System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaValidationException] The 'http://www.microsoft.com/msi/patch_applicability.xsd:TargetLanguage' element is invalid - The value '0,1033,1030,1043,2057,1035,1036,1031,1040,1041,1042,1044,1034,1053' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://www.microsoft.com/msi/patch_applicability.xsd:ValidateLanguage' - The string '0,1033,1030,1043,2057,1035,1036,1031,1040,1041,1042,1044,1034,1053' is not a valid Int32

I think it may be the 0 value in the language code I don't believe that's valid.

Support Team (Patch My PC)

Actually, they are trying to add multiple languages in the <TargetLanguage> element. It doesn't appear this allows a list of language codes based on the applicability schema: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb972753(v=vs.85).aspx

The target language should likely look something like this: <TargetLanguage Validate="false">0</TargetLanguage>
There's is currently: <TargetLanguage Validate="false">0,1033,1030,1043,2057,1035,1036,1031,1040,1041,1042,1044,1034,1053</TargetLanguage>

I would recommend that you reach out to them directly since you are licensed and likely have support.

Support Team (Patch My PC)

There were issues with their MSP installers last time we checked https://patchmypc.com/forum/index.php?topic=1367.msg4849#msg4849 let us check this again.

Merged with a previous topic

I got the MSP to install successfully with the following command line:
msiexec /p BbRevu2018.4x64_Update5.msp REINSTALLMODE=omus REINSTALL=ALL REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn

Support Team (Patch My PC)

The issue wasn't actually with the MSP installer installing, but it was invalid schema in the MSP applicability table causing the updates to not validate in the Update SDP.

damien.solodow

Ah. How do you check/validate that property in the MSP? It's been forever since I had to do things like that and Orca doesn't seem to tell me anything.

We do have support with them, so if the current patch is still busted I'm happy to yell at them about it. :)

Support Team (Patch My PC)

We were testing it with SCUP previously, but you may be able to see the logic in Orca.

Here's the details from before: https://patchmypc.com/forum/index.php?topic=1367.msg4849#msg4849

We haven't had a chance to see if the latest MSP works ok yet. Maybe it's been fixed.

jbirch

We're interested in this one as well.  If there's something we can do to test/check the latest patch here, please let me know.

dylbrwn

Yeah this one and Egnyte (in the request forum) would be HUGE for us
