Nirlauncher is being downloaded as a zip, and when i try to open the zip, it says it's in unknown format or damaged. It's password-protected too, maybe that's the reason it's getting damaged when installing with home updater?.

The 2KB .zip file NirLauncher_1.30.20.zip currently being downloaded by the Home Updater is actually a text file (.html). Change .zip extension of the file to .txt or .html to open (view) the contents. I have no idea of how this file is being generated, except possibly as a result of an exception due to encryption of the vendor-provided .zip file.

The download file provided on the NirLauncher web site (https://launcher.nirsoft.net/downloads/) is a 39,350 KB encrypted (enc) .zip file, nirsoft_package_enc_1.30.20.zip (password nirsoft9876$).

Home Updater can either (1) download a copy of the vendor-provided encrypted .zip file and forgo the option to automatically extract the package OR (2) support extraction either by (a) providing an unencrypted version of the .zip file for download to the Home Updater client or by (b) including the capability to extract an encrypted .zip file with a known password directly within the Home Updater client.
