How will Intune Updates work with Patch My PC Cloud?

Our company offers a number of applications to install via Company Portal. We also allow users to install some apps we don't offer through Company Portal. We want to keep those apps updated (the ones we're not offering through Company Portal), so when possible, we enable this through the 'Intune Updates' tab in Patch My PC on-prem.

As we transition to Patch My PC Cloud, is there a way to do a similar thing? Or will we have to make the app available to install in order to also keep it updated?

You will want to use the "Update Only" assignment in addition to your available or required assignment.

This will create the same package that would be created via the publisher under the "Intune Updates" tab.
