PMPC (Cloud) Missing Update-Only Option in Assignments

I'm trying to move updates over from the Publisher to Cloud and I've been mostly successful, but I now have a number of apps that don't appear to have an Update-Only assignment option.  I apply the same template I've been using and I get an error that my rings with only an Update-only assignment need a at least one.  Clicking on Add Assignment and I can't do the update. I just have Required, Available, and Uninstall.

Anyone know what I'm missing? Example = Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime. Parameters look OK.  /install /quiet /norestart

Some Products like 'Adobe Acrobat' only have certain Assignment Types based on the 'Installer Type' that you select. For Adobe Acrobat, if you select 'EXE' then you only get 'Available,Required,Uninstall', but if you select the 'MSP' installer type, then you only get the 'Add Update Only' assignment type. This is because Adobe only provides updates in msp files.

For products like .NET Desktop Runtime, we don't have 'Update' packages, only 'Apps'. This is true whether it's the Publisher or Cloud. See the below Support Products page and the Reference numbers next to the product for what we support.

There are a few apps in our catalog where we do not provide updates, only base installs. .Net Desktop Runtime is one of those apps. A few others include: Bloomberg Terminal and Kofax PowerPDF.

We maintain a full list of the applications available for Intune Updates here: https://patchmypc.com/scupcatalog/downloads/PatchMyPC-SupportedProductsList-IntuneUpdatesOnly.csv

This list is also typically available on our supported products page: https://patchmypc.com/supported-products/ however, it looks like the links were dropped when we transitioned to the new website a few days ago, so I'll get that reported to the website team and the links re-enabled soon!

And I see Michael also posted about the same as I was typing my reply!

Thanks Michael! It would be good to know at a glance which ones can't be updated. I would also suggest some way to know when an App is Binary Free and requires a download.

Its does look like we have some existing 'IDEA's for the Binary Free filter. Maybe give those a vote so that you are subscribed to Updates should we add that in the future.

I don't see one for filtering based on if we do or don't have updates. Definitely submit one for that if you are interested.
