Adding a detection method to a Intune app

We have added a config file I would like to add in the Intune application detection method Patch my PC published. My question is, when Patch my PC creates a newer version, will it copy over custom detection methods I add when it creates the new updated application?

Yes, PatchMyPC will overwrite any changes to the detection method within Intune.

Are you copying over the config file during the App/Update installation? Or is something else creating this file?
