Citrix Workspace LTSR Versions

When new versions of Citrix Workspace LTSR are released (ex: 2507) it does not mean that previous versions (ex: 2402) are immediately defunct/invalid.  Because of the way that these updates are managed under a single product in PatchMyPC, after 2507 is imported it supersedes 2402, making it difficult to deploy/update to 2402 even though it has not reached its EoL.

Can Citrix Workspace be changed so that it is managed similarly to how other products (ex: Palo Alto GlobalProtect) are, where each version is a separate product?  In the case of Citrix Workspace, there would be a separate product for Citrix Workspace 2402 LTSR, Citrix Workspace 2507 LTSR, and possibly also a Citrix Workspace LTSR Latest.

Hmm, that seems reasonable. Do you happen to know if 2507 would ever get another update that is not a completely new product? I will bring this suggestion to the rest of the catalog team and determine if this is something we want to pursue, but at the very least, we can reduce confusion by renaming the current product "Citrix Workspace LTSR Latest"

2507 will likely receive CU updates (ex: CU1, CU2, etc).  2402 should not receive any further updates since 2507 has been released, but we would like to continue to be able to deploy it since it is not EOL and 2507 is still very new.  In rare instances, an update (or hotfix) is released for a CU in the case of a bug or security vulnerability.

Lifecycle Milestones for Citrix Workspace app and Citrix Receiver discusses the Workspace and Workspace LTSR lifecycle in detail.

This is very helpful information, thanks for sharing. We are going to rename the existing to Latest and are still discussing if we should add the previous versions as their own separate products within the catalog.
