As maybe we don't realise that Adobe Reader is 468MB, vs. the alternative of SumatraPDF being only 8.2MB !!!  Or that DaVinci Resolve is 2.47GB !!!

Not all apps are cute little apps like the 2MB 7-Zip. So we might want to delay downloading big apps until later, or using WiFi instead of mobile date, etc. etc.

As the inexorable march to the cloud continues we are shortly to start using Autopilot with Entra joined devices in our live environment. As much as I will dig my claws in and attempt to hold on to SCCM I fear it's demise is not too far away. We currently have the PMPC Publishing Service installed on our SCCM Management Point with Intune pushing out the software updates. In a post SCCM world, where does the PMPC Publishing Service live? Thank you.

Hi,

I'm experiencing the same issue since the update to new version of PatchMyPC, didn't have this issue on older versions. I suspect it may be related to the fact I have a bit of software that autohides my desktop icons after 5 seconds of inactivity - the software is DesktopOK but I tried a different one AutoHideIcons and same result.
