Thanks for PMPC. For the past 48 hours, the Updater has shown PDF XChange Editor with updates from 10.8.2.407 to .408 and today .409. The program's updater, however, continues to show build 407 as current.

The problem you describe appears to lie with the PDF-XChange updater program, not Home Updater.

Tracker Software released PDF-XChange Editor 10.8.3.408 on 24-Feb-2026, followed by a bugfix-only release 10.8.4.409 later the same day. See the PDF-XChange download (https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/downloads) and history (https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/pdf-xchange-pro/history) webpages for details or click on the "Home" button within PDF-XChange Editor to display its product (https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/pdf-xchange-editor) webpage which lists the current version as 10.8.4.409 (as-of 26-Feb-2026).

Thanks. 72 hrs in and they still are not updating within the program. Wonder if it has to do with the free edition.
