Patch My PC Home Updater is showing 4 apps out of date. But I have checked each one and they are up to date. They are the same versions that Home Updater wants me to update to.
I don't know if this is a bug in PC Home Updater, a registry issue, or whatever. Any ideas how to fix this?
It's probably a registry issue, but can you please share a screenshot?
I went ahead and allowed Patch My PC Home Updater to update the apps even though they were already up to date.
Most of them then stopped showing in Home Updater.
Here is one that still shows. It is already at the current version.
Screen Shot attached.
Are you sure the app is on the latest update?
I'm using the same app on multiple devices and I never had issue with it!
Yes I am on the latest update. V5.3.2.0
And at least now for this one app even when I tell Home Updater to update it, it still shows it is not up to date.
I was talking about the version of Logi Options+ itself, are you sure it's up to date?
I just tried it and it works fine! PMPC might fail to update it if it's working on the background and you are not enabling the option to kill the app before updating.
Yes the app was up to date. Also I do have the option set to kill the app before updating. Home Updater would not update it. So I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. After that Home Updater showed it was up to date.
This is not the first time I have had Home Updater (and Patch My PC before that) say an app needed updating when it was already up to date.
