The visual c++ runtimes from MS are distinct releases grouped by year as separate and different programs. Many are required for older programs and games and do not run using current year versions (aka "2015-2022" v14.x).
After MS released to the general public the latest v14 version of the runtimes v14.44.35.211 under the "2015-2022" moniker - PatchMyPc incorrectly detects the latest 2005 v8.x version as an outdated "2015-2022" build. Again, many users maintain an up to date library of 2005, 2008, 2012, 2013, *and* 2015-2022 runtimes where each of these versions have separately maintained revision forks.
Can you test now please?
Also, is this an ARM machine?

Still there, this is a traditional x64 system, not an ARM machine.
Sorry for the late reply!
How about now?
Fixed, thank you sir!
Unfortunately it's not fixed, today PMPc is detecting VC++ 2013 v12.0.40664 as an "outdated" version of VC++ 2015-2022 (which currently is 14.50.35710, but PMPC thinks it's 14.44.35211.0).
well?
How about now? It should be fixed.
seems to be fixed, but microsoft visual C++ 14 / 2015-2022 just doesn't appear at all in the list.

Well, that just means it is not installed :)
wrong, they are installed. I don't know if you now, but they changed the name from "Microsoft visual C++ 2015-2022" to "microsoft Visual C++ V14" from version 14.50.35710 on
This is the latest stable version from their official download links.
1. that information is outdated (it usually takes a while to be updated). I didn't just "make up" version 14.50.35710

those are the official links from microsoft servers.
2. that doesn't change the fact that PMPc is not detecting *any* version of VC++ 14/2015-2022.
Sorry, when I talked about outdated information, I was thinking of this page: https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version
which usually takes a while to be up to date.
It's not updated in the official download page as you mentioned which probably means the ones you sent are in preview.
yes, maybe, but still there's the problem of PMPC NOT DETECTING any VC++14/2015-2002 runtime, regardless of its status as stable or preview (or whatever)
There has never been an issue with VS++ 2015-2022 with PMPC.
And there is nothing called VC++ 14 that we are aware of.
As long as the app isn't called "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable" in the Add/Remove Programs, then it's not installed and you are using another version/edition.
wow, you are stubborn!
I told you they changed the name. I EVEN SENT YOU THE LINKS. did you even bother to download and install those versions?
Installing those version REPLACES the previous "Visual C++ 2105-2022 Redistributable"
Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable is NOT Visual C++ v14 Redistributable
And it doesn't exist on their download page (that you sent) and there is now news about it and I don't even know where did you got it from.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version
We are not going to replace this with that for millions of users when there is nothing official about it.
When/IF they officially replaced 2015 to v14, then we will do the same.
Until then, it doesn't even exist.
yes, it does. I have JUST downloaded them form the official page https://learn.microsoft.com/es-es/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version
and IT IS CALLED VC14++ NOW. and PMPC was aking for it, but once I installed it, it just disappeared from the list of programs.
Yeah it's official now so we added it.
We will improve the detection name soon.
FWIW, I"m still not seeing it under "my apps", by any name. the last one is MS vc++ 2013
