Title: OS detected as 64bit but is actually 32bit
Post by: tlarhices on February 29, 2012, 07:08:03 PM
Patch my PC detect my OS as being :
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64

But I am actually running a 32bit version.
This makes all updates fail as it tries to run 64bit installers...

It would be detected as 64bit if you have the following regsitry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT (This should only be on machines that are 64bit check to see if this exist)
