Hi,

Vmware workstation 17.6.3 once installed, doesn't allow an uninstall (uninstall greyed out in software center).
Note that in Apps and features, uninstall is also greyed out which suggests the possible reason the PMPC deployment uninstall isn't available.

If you want to uninstall VmWare workstation currently, you can do it via apps and features, however you need to choose Modify, then choose the Remove option that way.

Not sure if there is anything you can do to make this work. Just figured I would let you know in case you weren't aware.

Hi Paul,

I tested the uninstall action in the lab, and it was successful.

  ActionType - Uninstall will use Content Id: Content_9ec844b8-3de5-408a-bb6d-c84d3f250596 + Content Version: 1 for AppDT "VMware Workstation Pro 17 17.6.3

In your case, the app may have been deployed with a Required assignment, which can disable or grey out the Uninstall button in the Software center.

Can you check if there are any active Required deployments in the CM console ?
