Title: can't install on my Vmware Fusion ARM windows 11
Post by: aslterp on March 22, 2025, 10:33:43 AM
I'm getting this error message while trying to install. I manually downloaded all the 'required' software and still issues.

Suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out. From the screenshots, it looks like you might be trying to install Home Updater on an ARM device. Just to clarify, we don't currently support Home Updater on ARM devices, but it's something we'll be looking into soon.

The latest preview build of the Home Updater (linked above) should now install correctly on Arm64 devices. That said, we still have work to do in the catalog to better support Arm64-specific apps.

Right now, some apps like Chrome may fail during install. The x64 installer detects it's running on an Arm64 device and blocks the Win32 install, recommending Chrome for ARM instead. Some apps will install just fine, but others might run into issues like that.

We're aware and working to improve this experience as we continue expanding support for Arm64 across the catalog.
