Respectable Forum i have downloaded the last version of the program PATCHMYPC thinking that it was the program that I have used till now. Instead i have noticed that the program has changed its name and it is impossible to install it on my computer in which it is running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit. Now i want gently to know if it will be created a version for my operating system or if i am obliged to change it to use the new version of the program.

We have not actively tested the latest version of Patch My PC Home Updater on Windows 8.1, mainly because Microsoft no longer supports that operating system. That said, we are not currently aware of any specific issues with running it on Windows 8.1.
Could you let us know if you are using version 4 or version 5 of the Home Updater? That will help us look into this further for you.

Gent.le Mr. Justin Chalfant I want to thank you to have answered to my question: I want simply inform you that I am still using Version 4 of the program PATCHMYPC HOME UPDATER because, while I am writing this post, I have dowloaded version 5 but the program stops to install telling me that it is not possible to go on with the installation because my operating system is not compatible with the last version of your program. So I must go on using version 4.I don't know what to do.

Unfortunately, a key component of PMPC 5, .NET 8.0, is not supported on Windows 8.
