Title: think-cell - The digest of the local content file does not match the expected on
Post by: juhlmann on February 11, 2025, 06:49:25 AM
Hello,
when we try to add manually downloaded msi setup file to local content folder of PmPC we get the error message: 'The digest of the local content file does not match the expected one' and the new app version will not be synced to Intune.
Think-cell changed the naming sheme for the files some weeks ago.
Example: setup_think-cell_35648.msi (OLD), setup_think-cell_35648_532n.msi (NEW)
Change filename doesn't help.

Thank you for your support

Hello juhlmann,

I just downloaded the latest version of the Think-Cell MSI installer, and it was accepted without making any changes.

Can you please confirm you are downloading the MSI, and not the EXE installer (see attached screenshot)?

Hello Liviu,
yes we downloaded the MSI file, but we are using version 12. You tried version 13.

Ah, thank you for the additional details this makes sense.

Unfortunately, we only support the latest version offered by the vendor, in this case version 13.

If you'd like to manage an older version using our Portal, there is an option to create a custom app (https://docs.patchmypc.com/installation-guides/patch-my-pc-cloud/custom-apps).
