Title: Dependency for Autodesk AutoCAD "Autodesk Access"
Post by: msysadmin on January 29, 2025, 03:21:23 PM
I came across several client devices with multiple Autodesk applications that were failing to update. After doing some quick troubleshooting, I found that Autodesk Access needs to be installed on the device for the updates to process successfully. Any thoughts on this? Possibly packaging Autodesk Access as a dependency for all Autodesk AutoCAD products?

Also thank you for expanding and covering more of these Autodesk applications!

Just a quick add -

Adding the ODIS tool might also work, but I was not able to test this on my machines.

Unfortunately we cannot add dependencies in our platform just yet - however Autodesk Access is in the catalog, and if you manually create a dependency, we will copy them forward when creating a new version of the update. However, these dependencies only relate to ConfigMgr apps, and Intune apps/updates.
