Title: Pausing Product updates for more than 6 months
Post by: DaveLowe on January 13, 2025, 08:04:36 AM
is it possible to pause product updates for more than 6 months (which seems to be the default period on the right click option)? We have certain apps used in Education (for example, PyCharm Community Edition) where there is a requirement NOT to allow the app to update during the academic teaching year. Is it possible in PMPC console somewhere,  to specify a longer period?

Hello, thank you for contacting us
regarding your question, no it is possible to postpone updates for more than 6 Months (180 days)
for example, the updates for PyCharm can be paused until 13th of July (stating today)
Alternatively, you can uncheck the unneeded updates from our PatchmyPC console and remove the Application updates from SCCM/Intune.
