Title: Failed to read or write to the registry permission denied

I am using Patch My PC 3.0.1.3 on Windows 7 Enterprise [64-bit] Build 7601: Service Pack 1 and I have administrator rights on my PC.

When I run the program, I get error message: Failed to read or write to the registry permission denied

The error appears even if i right-click PatchMyPC.exe 3.0.1.3 and choose "Run as Administrator"

Please advise, this is great software while it worked.   Is there any solution?

What anti-virus product are you using?

I am using Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection (screenshot attached).

Is there any update on this error message?   Which registry keys is PatchMyPC trying to access?

I have Windows 7 (64-bit) and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2 installed

unfortunately, no this was not been seen by any other user nor can be recreated in our labs.

We aren't sure we were unable to repro any of these errors.

I am having the same problem. Until a few days ago it worked fine, but now it appears the same warning. I have Windows 10 home x64 and ESET Smart Security. I tried disabling the antivirus but the problem persists.

Do you have any other security software installed?
