When I began using Patch My PC (maybe a decade ago), my display of candidate Apps for updating had at least a dozen Apps (including MicroSoft). Then, all of a sudden, everything Microsoft disappeared and I'm left with only three (Google Chrome, InSpectre, and PrivaZer). I've thought about asking this for a long time, but, since I just joined the Forum today, I didn't know where to go with my question. What happened? Do my many other Apps no long qualify for PatchMyPC inspection? Was this a MicroSoft move, or did I do something inadvertently that reduced the population of Apps that qualify for PatchMyPC inspection? I'm looking for both enlightenment and practical guidance. Thanks for any that you can share with me.
Hey Frank, is this for the Patch My PC Home Updater?
Yes
Thanks Frank
I'm personally not familiar with our Home Updater - you originally posted your question in our Enterprise section (which is for different software we offer businesses.)
I've moved your question into the Home Updater area of our forum where the appropriate team can better help answer your question!
Hey Frank,
Did you leave the home updater for a long time then came back to it finding that a lot of apps were removed? If yes then it's maybe because we have removed several Microsoft apps a couple of years ago. It was all mentioned in the release notes:
