Title: Adobe Reader and PRO auto updates general guidance before PMPC
Post by: jaltic on August 15, 2024, 06:13:15 AM
I have a general question and some guidance on best practices.   Before PMPC was introduced into our environment are Adobe auto updates were turned on for these products Adobe Reader and Adobe DC(pro).   Do I need to disable these features (auto update) within the application before having PMPC manage the updates or does it not really matter.   Any best practices you can recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jaltic,

Thank you for reaching out.

There will not be any issue. PMPC publisher will created the update packages and will get it installed on the machine that needs it.

So, we are good. For the safer side, I would suggest you to test it on a test collection/ group first. Once you are confident deploy it to your other production fleet.
