We enabled this app for updating and now have users coming to us saying their app is asking for a license key when opening the new install. We're installing v24 and the latest update is v30.1. Using the key for the original install fails. I would have figured that updates for licensed software would stay in their own version lane to preserve current licensing, but maybe this one was overlooked as just a singular install?

I disabled the app when I saw the problem. I will likely not turn it back on until I hear something was done, since I don't feel like manually uninstalling the new version and installing the licensed version of UltraCompare again for the users of the app.
