Title: HELP! Not working?
Post by: FrancesScarlett on February 04, 2014, 03:50:13 PM
When I open PMPC it usually it shows a bar that it is loading it is not doing that anymore and When I first go in none of the common updates are checked so I check them as I am doing that the number of perform updates changes but as soon as I hit either perform updates or recheck updates it unchecks everything and then says it does not detect any outdated software and there is no list? Okay I tried to post pictures but it keeps giving me an error saying they are to big there are only 2 and each is 122kb?

What's the issue? It looks like all those are already installed.

Look at the 2nd picture it says perform 8 updates and I have the boxes checked of the software I want updated? My Java, Flash and Shockwave were all needing updated (went to Adobe and Java to see) it shows no list of what is needing updates and when I click perform updates it turns into the 1st picture where it says it did not detect any outdated software. If I check the boxes again I get the 8 again. I had to just go to the sites to update the software. Hope this makes sense

If they are green (as in your first screenshot) then they are already updated.  PMP will tick them automatically if they need updating, by ticking them manually you are asking PMP to update applications that are already up to date.
