Title: skype, 7zip show as needing updates

in updating these two, I get the following:

skype:  error message 1638.  manual update from skype program shows latest version running;

7zip:  no error message, finishes with "0", shows need to update immediately thereafter.

Are you still seeing the 7-Zip error? for Skype error 1638 = Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel.

(You may need to uninstall Skype then rerun the update)
