Hi all,
I have a laptop that I use at work (wired connection, proxy enabled) and at home (wireless, no proxy).
Now when I'm home I simply disable the system proxy and then I can surf the internet. But when I start PMPC I get the "Unable to connect to proxy" error. Now what ìs strange is that the proxy mentioned is NOT the current proxy I use at work but an old one that I used several weeks ago - probably the last time I used PMPC
I doublechecked and all proxy setting are disabled,
any idea whay's wrong?

where does patch my pc getting the proxy info???

Can you please send your settings.xml and patchmypc.log to
[email protected] and we can take a look at why it is still attempting to use the proxy?
Have you restarted the Patch My PC Windows Service since turning the proxy off?
