As I understand it Powershell is and will remain the only supported detection method for the base applications feature in PMPC (Enterprise). My organization blocks Powershell by default so this won't work for us, but is there anything stopping us from changing the detection method after an application has been published?
The only good thing is that we can still create applications that are used in a OSD task sequence and that works fine now we have the certificated installing as per one of the KB articles, but where we're deploying apps via Software Center we need a solution - hoping that my idea above is ok.

Sorry for the delay, we had an issue with our forum recently. Yes, we will only use PowerShell you can change it to whatever you want if needed.
