Not sure if this is known already or not, but the updates for .NET Core Runtime and .NET Core Host don't appear to be removing the old versions in our environment. They patch fine but leave all the old versions still in place. Just realized today I've got about 8 versions of it installed on some endpoints :)
Hey Scott,
Based on our testing it seems like this is by design for their installer.
Yeah I'm going thought the processes at the moment of finding and remove unsupported version of Microsoft .NET even If I add the new versions as Superintendence to the old version with 'replace' the new versions aren't being removed.
I understand they can run side by side, but there isn't a clean with of uninstalling .NET I just finished writing a detect and remediate script to do this, but surely there would be a similar way?
