The latest version of Malwarebytes (3.6.1) has downloaded but taking ages to install. Last attempt failed to install likely this one will. Not sure when to cancel will do so soon and try via Malwarebytes site. Any suggestios ? First time I've needed to post, I think.

I remember this happening to me once too, but they usually fix this up in a matter of a day or two with another mini version. Did you get your Malwarebytes to work by now?

Thanks for your response. Yes, I managed to install the latest version of malwarebytes. I actually got a notification from MWB to install so did it via the link. Had a few glitches to start. It did take a couple of goes so maybe a general problem or my PC, rather than specific to Patch My PC.
