Title: WinSCP Auto Reboot on Server 2008
Post by: darkman738 on September 05, 2012, 12:35:43 PM
I was running PMPC today on a server when it completed the server automatically restarted.  After it came back up and walking through some logs I found that WinSCP initiated a restart.  Now I understand you are simply a middle man but do you have a way of tracking/stopping this and alerting the user?  I'm now reluctant to use this in production as I can't afford the automatic restart.  Even a warning that says "X product is installed, this may result in an automatic reboot.  Do you wish to continue?" MessageBox would be fine as I honestly had no clue this software was installed, that PMPC would update it or even what it was until I researched it.

Thanks,
  Frank

Hmm I was unaware WinSCP would reboot. I will check the switch's to see if the reboot can be suppressed
