Title: 7-zip wont install from network share.

MSI installer for 7-zip dont install form network share. Error exit code 110. 7-zip setup not optimal if setup is located on a network share.

Do you know if this is something with 7-Zips installer?

Hi Justin. Sorry for the late reply. Just MSI dont run well on a network share. Maybe instead of the MSI maybe get the .exe installer. users running PatchMyPCITProCache on a share drive wont be able to install from a MSI installer.

We will use the MSI or EXE based on what is currently installed. We added supported for this in our last update.

no go. Even if is installed on PC or new install. PatchMyPC downloads the msi every time. To test. Download 7-zip.msi to a share drive on the network. Try to run the msi from the share. You will see the error im talking about.
