We removed Recuva from "Patch My PC" because it installs Chrome (if you donÔÇÖt have it) and sometimes it installs toolbars.

What about Recuva Portable? Recuva (https://www.piriform.com/recuva/builds), Speccy (https://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds), and CCleaner (https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds) are my big go-to's but I always make sure to get the portable version from their site.

I have been using Recuva for several months, and after several attempts to recover files, most of the them were not recovered (
