Title: built in scheduler?
Post by: claykin on June 12, 2012, 12:44:15 AM
Any chance we'll see a built in scheduler to auto run patchmypc?  Nice app but the added steps needed to manually create a Windows schedule task (that actually works) is too much for your average end user.

I find you must set patchmypc.exe to always run as an administrator and when running through Win task scheduler you cannot run it if the user is logged off (I assume UAC issue).

This is going to be an option in the Pro Version. I'm hoping to have it ready within the next few months. The pro version is going to get installed, and it will be a much better option for the average user.

I'm going to start it between 5 - 10 $ so it's very inexpensive.
