wireshark failed to update with the following message "failed to verify file size from url"...

We just checked and it's working fine! Maybe it was down temporarily when you were trying to download. Is it working now?

all sorted now. we are running dns filter (nxfilter) that was blocking wireshark.org. whitelisting it allows patchmypc to update the software. great product...
