I am a new user to PMPC and I am confused by this update monitor program. I downloaded the program and it appears in my Download file as an .exe file as normal. However, when I double click on it, it doesn't go through a normal program installation but instead opens a window showing me the status of some of my installed programs. It doesn't appear as an installed program in Windows 10 Programs and Features nor as an installed program in my Advanced System Care Uninstall utility. It doesn't appear that this program is installed on my computer and the only way I can figure out how to open it is to double click on the .exe file in the Download folder which is weird from all my previous experience. Am I missing something?
This is because it's a portable app and doesn't need to be installed. You can create a desktop shortcut in the options menu if you want.
