Behaviour change

I have been using this app for a long time, but now it has changed. I have set it to scan weekly on Mondays at 7:30AM. And have disabled the hourly checks. Despite that, I get a pop-up saying there is a new update available for a program. I only want it to run on Mondays, and I don't want to see any pop-ups. How do I get the old behavior back? Windows 10 on a PC.
