Remove desktop shortcuts for apps after installation doesnt work

Hello, plz fix setting in PatchMyPC "Remove desktop shortcuts for apps after installation", when it turned on, after app installation/update it doesn't delete desktop icon from desktop

I can confirm seeing this behavior with some applications as well. It might be worth mentioning which apps leave shortcuts behind, as the result could depend on how the installer creates the desktop icon.
