Could you add this as a feature request here https://ideas.patchmypc.com/?category=7431601486720841094 rather than the support forum. That will ensure it's tracked and others can upvote it. You will also get notified if we make process on it via email.

Try the following...

1. Shift + X before closing.

2. Close the app.

3. Re-open the app.

Works in version 4.

Where is it documented?
Is it a shortcut for some action you can do with the mouse, e.g., from the left-hand nav?

It doesn't work for Windows (installed) v5.2.3.0 on Windows 10. The window always opens maximised on the main monitor.

5.2.3.0 is a really old version, could you please upgrade to v 5.4.0.0? https://patchmypc.com/release-notes/production-release/home-updater-releases/

I think this should resolve the windows size.
